This will be our first year on milk test. We have chosen Langston Lab.  We have both ADGA/AGS and MDGA goats.  Hoping for tips on the best way to test so all the goats get credit as they earn stars.  How complicated is the paperwork adding registries if we are only signed up thru one

      Hi Kayla,

Thank you for the post. This will be my first year on milk test as well and I am a little intimidated by it. I found this information on MDGA’s site: https://miniaturedairygoats.net/milk-test-labs-supplies/ and this information on TMGR’s site: https://www.tmgronline.com/milk-test-how-to both of which helped me feel a little better about the process. However, the DHIA link on the TMGR site goes to a document from 2015 that was removed but I was able to find the new affiliate listing (as of 2019) here: https://adga.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/REGIONAL-AFFILIATES2019.pdf.

With you choosing Langston Lab, I think you shouldn’t have too much of with it working for both MDGA and ADGA since it is an approved facility for both organizations.

Good luck with your milk test!
